Does anyone else find it more difficult to eat healthy on the weekends than during the week? Maybe it's because I'm a social eater, but I didn't do well AT ALL with my challenge this weekend!
Mike isn't doing this challenge with me, so he will enjoy a couple cookies every once in a while...but guess who makes them?! ME! And I end up eating one or two as well. At first, I was telling myself "as long as you aren't over your calorie limit for the day, you'll be fine!" and off I was! But, I'm now getting to the point that I can't enjoy what I used to. My body is changing, and apparently it doesn't like the old food I used to eat because I feel really sick this morning.
Last night, we had Mike's family over for dinner. I made pasta, rolls, a salad, and a cake. While it was all really good in the moment, I'm regretting it now!
Maybe I should just lay down he law. I'm not baking another cookie, another cake, or making a huge carb-filled meal until I'm done! October 22nd...I can do that.
In other news, I have lost 3 pounds!
