If you haven't made homemade fries, you have not lived!! No just kidding. But seriously...
It's simple and really yummy. NOT diet friendly. I repeat, NOT diet friendly. But who cares about that anyways...?
-Yellow potatoes(I used Idaho the first time, but the yellow were so much better)
-Fry Oil(I use vegetable but canola would work just fine, too)
-Salt
Heat oil on medium-high heat. Cut potatoes into sticks, not too thin, not too thick. Fry in oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle on salt while hot!
Also, you can't eat fries without fry sauce. That's just weird. Here's a simple recipe :)
-Ketchup
-Mayo
-Pickle juice(I'm not even joking)
I never measure, I just keep adding until it tastes good. Mix and enjoy!
I know, I know. These are really hard to make. Don't worry, you can do it! I believe in you ;)
